Infokiosk ML 510 is a freestanding kiosk with touchscreen for 24 x 7 unattended or unsupervised self-service without presence of customer service representative.
The performance and features of the standard model can be configured to meet your specific needs under the “Configuration” tab. The quantity can be selected in the cart.
Infokiosk ML 510 has a capacitive one-touch screen. The screen is covered with anti-reflective coating for use in various lighting conditions. Screen filters that increase privacy can be added under “Configuration” tab.
Infokiosk ML 510 is equipped with an Intel® Atom™ computer as default option with configurable memory, disk, optical device, network interfaces and operating system. Kiosk can be configured also with more powerful Intel® Celeron®, Core™ i3 and i5 based computers under “Configuration” tab.
The infokiosk has a default LAN cable network connection. WiFi and mobile internet (3,5G) network connections can be added. A vandal-proof plafo antenna is used for wireless connections.
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Embedded operating system is default option, which can be changed to Windows® 7, Windows® 8 or without preinstalled operating system. Upon request, the infokiosk can be ordered without a computer module.
We recommend to use our infokiosks with Sitekiosk software which can be added under "Configuration" tab. Sitekiosk ensures that users of unattended self-service kiosk cannot tamper with Windows® settings. Sitekiosk enables also the configuration of options available for user e.g. allowing the user to choose the language, restricting access to certain web pages or granting access only to designated sites, showing ads or info notices as a screensaver etc.
The housing of Infokiosk ML 510 is made of 4 mm thick aluminum and its default colour is high gloss white (with black edges). Other colours are also available under “Configuration” tab.
The housing is lockable with one key and is suited for unattended/unsupervised self-service use. The back panel of the housing is removable by key, which enables the kiosk to be easily accessed for maintenance. The infokiosk can also be easily mounted to the floor.
There are several additional modules for the housing that enable the use of peripheral devices within the housing, e.g. metal keyboard, scanner, ID-card reader, printer etc. The housing of a kiosk to which peripheral devices are added is thicker than the standard housing.
Infokiosk ML 510 can be ordered with several peripheral devices that expand the functionality of the kiosk. The most common devices are presented under the “Configuration” tab and include thermal printers, barcode readers, metal keyboards, ID-card readers, WiFi modules etc.
Please contact us if you could not find a suitable peripheral device under “Configuration”, as it can most likely be added to the kiosk upon request.
Several remote administration tools that enable the kiosk to be monitored and administered from anywhere over the internet can be ordered alongside with the infokiosk.
Remote administration tools are suitable for all network connections, including intranet (protected by firewall).
The monitoring pack ensures that information is relayed operatively via e-mail or SMS if the infokiosk has stopped or disconnected. The kiosk content can be updated and its user statistics can be monitored easily over the network.
